P&G : IsScheme Voice Ordering App for Retailers

P&G was considering the feasibility of launching an online ordering app for retailers to place orders for restocking P&G products. However, a touch and type interface would not make the cut for their retailers who come from a variety of educational and language backgrounds. So, they decided to offer a Voice-based ordering app to empower all their retailers to place orders conveniently and efficiently.

Slang Labs provided the Retail Voice Assistant that powers this app in five vernacular languages of India. The Slang in-App Voice assistant was integrated into Scheme App provided by School of Fish and the solution was demonstrated in the innovation day of P&G India.

Udaan : B2B Voice Ordering App for Merchants

Udaan acts as a marketplace that enables businesses to source products from suppliers across the board in a variety of categories such as grocery, pharma, apparel, electronics, electrical and more. Most of these businesses are not comfortable using English-only and touch and type based interfaces on the app. So, Udaan decided to run a pilot to see if a voice-based interface would help them perform their business transactions more smoothly than the traditional apps.

Slang Labs has implemented the voice-based search in pharma category of the app already and is now working on expanding more voice-enabled user journeys across multiple categories of Udaan app. Slang Labs grocery and pharma voice assistants are being integrated into the Udaan App and the pilot will be run on several user segments.

Big Basket : Grocery App with Voice Ordering for Consumers

Big Basket delivers groceries and essentials to millions of households everyday and a majority of their users are  juggling multiple responsibilities through the day. So, Big Basket wanted to improve the efficiency and convenience for these users.

Slang Labs provided the retail voice assistant to Big Basket which was pre-trained on more than 40,000 SKUs in the grocery category. The voice assistant was used by several thousands of Big Basket users for more than a month as part of the pilot experiment that Big Basket ran to evaluate the benefits of adding voice assistant to their app.
